Spring Fashion Wish List – Prepared for All Weather Conditions
Last week, I was sure it was finally spring. It was warm and sunny and my washing basket was always clear! This weekend, the weather was not quite the same as it turned quite chilly and the rain came back. It’s grey again today but I’m optimistic and am sure spring will be back again soon.
I’m in the mood to update my wardrobe for the new warmer season but am mindful that we will still have plenty of cold and rainy days so have picked some items that work well during this unreliable season. A dress that can be worn with or without tights, a lightweight rain-proof coat, ankle boots that are warm enough but not winter ones and of course sunglasses for when the sun makes an appearance.
My Spring Fashion Wish List
- A new shirt dress in a light material that you can wear a t-shirt or vest under if it’s cold. Shirt dresses look smart and stylish and they’re breastfeeding friendly too which is great for me as I’m still breastfeeding Baby No. 2. This one is from H&M and costs £24.99. Ralph Lauren have some great dresses for this season too!
- I would love a new smaller handbag, like the VINNY Vintage Crossbody Bag from Topshop. I would keep just my essential things in there — all the kids’ stuff can go in the changing bag! It costs £22.00.
- A bright yellow raincoat makes rainy days much better! I love the look of this matte anorak from New Look. It costs £34.99.
- From rain to sunshine — and maybe rainbows! — sunglasses are a must-have for spring. These one are the SEBB Flat Round Sunglasses from Topshop. I love the green lenses! They cost £16.00.
- Chelsea boots are great for everyday use — work, park, errands — but can be dressed up too with a dress for a meal out.
- I don’t wear make-up much but am fancying a tinted balm like the Clinique Chubby Stick in a peachy colour and I love a good blush-highlighter combination like this beautiful Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush from Too Faced.
- Until it warms up properly, leggings or tights are a must! Black always works but I do love more colourful options too. These ribbed leggings from H&M look comfortable. They cost £8.99.
