The Animal Show by Marcos Farina Review

Most of my toddler’s board books in our home collection are books that her older sisters had when they were little too but she got a brand new one shortly before Christmas. Her new book is The Animal Show by Marcos Farina and it quickly became a favourite.

The Animal Show is Little Gestalten’s first board book – I hope they’ll make more! In this chunky book for toddlers, we meet animals big and small.

Each spread shows two animals that like opposite things or do things in opposite ways with the animal name and the difference highlighted with typography choices, in bold capital letters in different colours. A great way to make the book extra educational.

We meet lots of fun animals and characters on each spread and they’re joined by children too which makes it even more fun for little ones.

And at the end, they all come together as friends! The Animal Show by Marcos Farina is a lovely little book for toddlers with lots of great illustrations and animals and words to learn.
