Travel Bucket List Destinations For The Future
Right now family holidays probably involve finding destinations with some of your priorities at the top of the list. Good weather, but perhaps not to hot for the children, great accommodation with some excellent children’s facilities, maybe a kids club and evening discos, and finally perhaps not too far away on a plane so that you don’t have to torture yourself. Sound familiar?
The family holiday is one that many families treasure, but of course, at some point, it will be just you and your partner and holidays will become a whole different ball game. I wanted to explore some of the destinations that are on my bucket list for when you get the opportunity for that couple’s escape. Whether you are lucky enough to do it now or ten years from now I hope it gives you some inspiration for the alternative holiday that is to come.

Over the past few years Los Cabos in Mexico has grown in popularity. Many people are drawn to the Caribbean side of mexico with Cancun and even Mexico City being places they visit, but Los Cabos is becoming very popular with American tourists thanks to the stunning beaches and fabulous accommodation options like Fairfield Inn Los Cabos. If you want some rest and relaxation with a little luxury thrown in then Los Cabos may be the perfect place for you. Moreover, Los Cabos has dozens of things to do, so everybody can find what they like.
- New Orleans in Louisiana, USA
Known as the Big Easy, New Orleans has fast recovered from Hurricane Katrina that took place over a decade ago, and is now bustling and full of life. The perfect city to visit and people watch while enjoying live music. There are some great boutique hotels in the heart of the city just waiting to be explored, and perfect for when you have more time to just soak in the atmosphere. Therefore, it is certainly super easy and convenient for anyone looking for options on where to stay in New Orleans.
- Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates
Usually when you think of the United Arab Emirates you imagine Dubai, a destination that has fast become a popular place for couples and families alike. But Abu Dhabi is up and coming, especially if you are interested in art. There has been a recent establishment opened making it a real hot spot for art lovers and with two more under construction you can leisurely walk the galleries without the fear of children knocking something over or being a little too loud. Plus there is all the shopping and beaches to enjoy as well, making it an all round perfect destination for you both as a couple.
- British Columbia in Canada
Wit fabulous coastline and fantastic rainforests to explore, British Columbia in Canada is like no other destination. It happens to be one of the best destinations for outdoor pursuits including biking and hiking. Making it a great place for you as a couple if you live the idea of spending time together doing things a little more energetic than casual strolls. Even going in the winter season won’t disappoint thanks to being able to witness storms that are majestic given the area in which this place is situated.
I hope that this has given you something to think about in terms of destinations to visit in the future when children’s entertainment is not the top priority!
