Trunki ToddlePak Backpack Review + Seatbelt Pad & Yondi Travel Pillow

Trunki has always been one of my favourite children’s brands with their innovative, fun and colourful products. We already had a couple of their car products that we love so I was curious to try a few more Trunki products.

We have three new Trunki items:

  • ToddlePak Backpack – Leeroy
  • Seatbelt Pad – SnooziHedz Seatbelt Pad Blue
  • Yondi Travel Pillow – Yondi Pink – Betsy

ToddlePak Backpack Review

The ToddlePak Backpack was chosen by my middle daughter who has just started preschool and is starting real school next year so she was in need of a good backpack for school and this one is lovely! There are five Trunki Toddlepak backpacks to choose from but my little girl loves lions so Leeroy was an easy choice for her! I think only a ladybird design would have beat it.

This ToddlePak backpack is perfect for our needs and any child going to preschool, nursery or the first couple of years at school. It’s colourful and fun and stands out from the crowd, making it easy for your child to find his or her bag. It’s got a 4 litre capacity and a large pocket on the front. On top, there’s a padded easy to grab handle that’s comfortable to hold and makes it easy for little hands to hang up.

The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable and there’s a chest strap too. The backpack has hi-visibility fabric on the nose of the lion and reflective piping too making it highly visible in the dark which is important in the winter.

Another fun detail is the wrap around arms at the front where your little one can place a favourite teddy or a rolled up coat. There’s also a tail! It’s such a cute and comfortable bag and it’s the perfect size for toddlers and preschoolers to carry. It can easily hold a lunch box and spare clothes for a day at preschool.

Seatbelt Pad & Yondi Travel Pillow

We’ve actually had one of these seatbelt pads for quite some time and it’s for my seat in the car! Without it, I find that the belt rubs on my neck and shoulder, causing discomfort. This can of course happen on children too and a SnooziHedz Seatbelt Pad is the perfect solution. Let your child pick their favourite character. We have the blue one ready for when my middle daughter moves over to a booster seat. For older kids (and adults!), there’s a handy pocket for an mp3 player and the unique Trunki grip for keeping sunglasses close to hand.

The Yondi Travel Pillow is for my eldest daughter who is already in a booster seat and now doesn’t really have anywhere to lean on in the car if she wants to nap during a longer car journey. Now we have this cosy travel pillow for her to use in the car when we’re going on longer trips. It’s made from soft, fleecy fabric and provides comfortable support for the head and neck. It’s got a magnetic closure under the chin and provides 360° of support.

We love our new Trunki products and are happy to explore the product range a bit further!
