Trying Bunlimited Hot Dogs – Bunlimited, Your Dog… Your Way

My husband loves hot dogs in the summer and always looks for hot dogs that are good quality when choosing for health and flavour.

Bunlimited is one of the UK’s leading hot dog brands and they are aiming to get families to get creative in the kitchen and having Bunlimited hot dogs in their own ways. There are lots of recipe ideas on their website if you’re looking for fun and tasty ideas and inspiration.

The Bunlimited range includes Classic and spicy Mexican hotdogs, crispy onions and a selection of sauces. My husband and our middle daughter has sampled the range. I’m a vegetarian myself and our oldest daughter doesn’t like hot dogs but they’re a great treat for my husband and our middle girl who is our little foodie. I have tried the sauces and the onions though and our toddler is a big fan of the crispy onions actually!

Bunlimited Products

The Bunlimited Hot Dogs are high quality pork hot dogs with a high meat percentage and are available in the Classic flavour and Mexican flavour. My husband enjoyed both but prefers the spicy Mexican ones.

The two sauces available are Chipotle Sauce and Honey Mustard Sauce. They are both mayo based and perfect flavours to complement your hot dog. The Honey Mustard one is the winner in our house.

Last but not least, the Crispy Onions that make a perfect hot dog topping. Crispy onions are a common hot dog topping in Sweden where I’m from so we’re happy to see these included in the range. Very delicious!

Bunlimited, Our Way – 3 Different Ideas

My husband has enjoyed trying different ways to eat Bunlimited hot dogs and these were his favourites:

• Bunlimited Mexican Hot Dog with a generous amount of Honey Mustard Sauce and Crispy Onions. Simple and tasty!
• Bunlimited Mexican Hot Dog with sauerkraut, Chipotle Sauce and picked red cabbage. Tangy and different!
• Bunlimited Classic Hot Dog topped with mashed potato, Crispy Onions and Honey Mustard Sauce. This is a very Swedish way to eat hot dogs! (see photo below)

All these were served in soft hot dog buns but he also made some yummy hot dog sandwiches using Bunlimited hot dogs. We’re very happy with all the Bunlimited products that our family has sampled and will be choosing these next time it’s hot dog time too!
