Since becoming a mother of two children, I’m very determined to make sure there are printed photos, canvases and photo books of my second baby too. Very often, parents forget or don’t have time to get these things done but it’s important to me that our second daughter has her important photos and memories printed too.

I made a Printrbook with photos for my firstborn daughter a couple of years ago and I have put her book in a memory box with her other keepsakes for her to have when she’s older. I’ve got one of these boxes for Baby No. 2 too and have just ordered a Printrbook filled with photos of her.

Creating Your Printrbook Photo Book

It’s really easy to print Instagram photos or Facebook snaps and turn them into lovely little photo books to treasure your memories and ensure those digital moments are not forgotten. I used my personal Instagram account (but you can use Facebook too) and chose the 25 photos that I wanted to include in my book. I picked my favourite baby photos! You can add 25 or 50 photos and they are printed in chronological order in the book — one on each page when choosing 50 and one on every second page when choosing 25.

You can have captions for each photo and/or the date (and time too) if you wish. I think the date option is great, especially for baby or kids photos when it’s so nice to know exactly when each photo was taken.

You can select one photo for the cover or make a collage of chosen photos yourself or let Printrbook pick random ones. Then you can add a title to your book and an introduction too.

The size of the books is 10cm x 11cm and they are ‘perfect bound’. The paper used on the inside is 150gsm matt paper and the outside is a 300gsm Trucard cover.

The books are the perfect size to take with you to show friends and family. The print quality is absolutely fine for printed Instagram photos — not super sharp like when printing your high res photos — but absolutely fine for the purpose.
