Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate Review
|Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate Review
My skin definitely needs a bit more TLC during the winter months. Having two young kids and another one on the way, I don’t get much time for my skincare routine anymore, but I do still love taking a moment to pamper my face when I can and love finding products that help me do so quickly and easily.
The newest addition to my beauty cabinet is the Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate. If you’re a regular visitor to this blog or my Instagram, then you’ll know that Weleda is one of my very favourite skincare brands for myself and for my children too.
The Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate is a serum designed to increase skin elasticity and intensively moisturise maturing skin. I’ve just turned 31 so I don’t class my skin as mature, but I do believe in being one step ahead when it comes to skincare and have often used products designed for more mature skin and it’s never done me any harm. I still get asked to show ID when buying alcohol sometimes, so something is working. Maybe it’s not sleeping properly for five years or consuming a lot of coffee and sugar, or maybe I’m choosing the right kind of skincare — who knows?
Anyway, this natural serum is lovely and feels great on my skin! It’s a great treat to help skin during the cold winter months, whether your 18 years old, in your 30s like me or a more mature lady. It’s formulated to soothe your skin as well as tighten and firm it and reduce fine or deep lines and help make your skintone more even.
It’s packed with natural actives that help reactivate skin cell renewal and restore skin radiance for a fresh, plump and revitalised complexion.
The organic Evening Primrose oil has high concentrations of essential fatty acids to help protect against moisture loss and also promotes cell regeneration.
Aloe Vera juice is another ingredient that helps keep your skin hydrated, Witch Hazel soothes and cools the skin and nourishing Centella Asiatica extract and Inca nut oil work together to regenerate skin cells and boost collagen.
The Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate feels lovely on my skin and leaves it soft and with a much-needed hydration boost. I apply it before moisturising and let it sink in a bit before adding a cream or oil over the top. The concentrate feels light on my skin and absorbs quickly, and the scent is fresh and relaxing too.
You can buy the Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate from the Weleda.co.uk website, Amazon.co.uk and independent health stores nationwide. It has an RRP of 37.50 for 30ml.
There are other products in the Weleda Evening Primrose facial skincare range too that I might need to check out now:
