It’s that time of year again — the middle of the winter — when we start thinking about holidays in the sun and begin to plan our summer travels. If you have young children, you have a few more things that you need to consider before choosing a destination or type of holiday because, of course, babies and young children have different needs and can complicate travel a little bit. It’s definitely still very possible to have a nice and relaxing holiday with kids — you just need to choose your holiday wisely.

When kids are young, one of the easiest types of holidays to do is holidaying in the UK by renting a caravan or going to one of the holiday parks but the UK doesn’t usually offer us the consistent, warm weather that we crave, the beaches and swimming fun that is part of a good holiday nor the interesting culture and exciting food of an international holiday.

Mums and dads can also enjoy local wines — some of the best wines are produced in this part of the world.
