The salmon, bass, and northern pike are quite common during the hot season.

  • Denali National Park

Alaska has more rain and fewer clouds in August. However, August is still a great time to visit the place. You can tour the Denali National Park and spot golden eagles, caribou, bears, and wolves. The bears are usually coming out of their hibernation period around this time. Hence, you are likely to get them hunting salmon and eating berries.

In particular, these bears enjoy blueberries which are juicy and fat during the season. You could also participate in the Alyeska Berry Festival and take a bite of the tasteful blueberries.

  • Washington – Cherry Blossom Season

Though many tourists have visited Washington DC for the historic museums, the new ones are also attracting their audience. Besides the museums, you could try catching sight of the cherry blossom season during spring.

While some may argue that Japan has an attractive cherry blossom season, there’s no harm in exploring other parts of the world. Normally, between late March and early April, you can see the cherry blossom trees bloom in Washington. If you want to catch an even better view of this bloom, head over to Tidal Basin.

With more than 3000 trees, you’re sure to experience a warm fuzzy feeling just by watching the radiant bloom. Just before you wrap up your Washington tour, you can take a photo at the Lincoln Memorial. Other places that you could get a wonderful snap of include the White House and National Mall.
