Adagio Loose Leaf Artisan Teas Review – AdagioTea.co.uk
Before moving to the UK from Sweden, I used to drink tea made with loose leaves quite a lot. They’re quite popular and there are lots of specialist tea shops in Stockholm. Ironically, when I moved to one of the most tea drinking countries in the world, my tea consumption went down.
I still love the full flavour of loose teas and have recently enjoyed a mixed sample pack from Adagio Tea so now I’m back drinking loose tea again.
My pack contained the following teas:
Black Teas
- Chocolate Chai
- Earl Grey Moonlight
- Masala Chai Tea
Herbal Teas
- Rooibos Vanilla Chai
- Rooibos Earl Grey
- Green Rooibos Bonita
- Piña Colada
You can buy larger packs of all these teas from Adagio Tea but you can also choose this smaller sample size which makes around 10 cups. This is great if you want to try new flavours and are not sure which one you’ll like the best or if, like me, you like to vary your teas and want small packets to ensure freshness. They’re very handy and great if you’re travelling or taking tea to work too.
The teas are really good quality and have lots of large bits in — leaves, fruit, flowers etc., which is exactly what I look for in a loose tea. My favourite of these flavours is the Rooibos Vanilla Chai which is delicious and great as an evening treat.
I highly recommend getting a packet of paper filters to use to make your tea. They ensure all the flavours come through but no bits end up in the tea water. They’re easy to use and biodegradable and stick to the side of your cup or tea pot. Brilliant!
Samples were provided for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
