Book Review: The Night Before Christmas by Rose Collins
|Book Review: The Night Before Christmas by Rose Collins
“It was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring,
Not even a … BEAR ?”
This book is a new illustrated story featuring Clement Clarke Moore’s much loved poem. The classic story is brought to life in a modern picture book with a new twist — Santa visits a family of bears on Christmas Eve.
Another modern thing about this book is that it’s available as a text to speech version which is a great way for children with reading difficulties to enjoy books on their own.
The book is really sweet and it’s nice to see the poem we all know still being used in new books for today’s children to enjoy. The illustrations are colourful and fun and my toddler loves the bear twist! Cuddly bears are always a hit, I think! It’s the perfect book to read in the run up to Christmas.
Order the book as a paperback or an e-book from Nursery Box or buy the Kindle edition from Amazon.co.uk. Prices start at just £1.49.
We were sent an e-book copy of the book for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
