Buddies Toothpaste Review – A New Brushing Buddy for Baby Teeth

Buddies is a new toothbrushing system made for kids that dislike conventional toothpaste flavours and for parents who want to make teeth cleaning fun and easy.

The range includes a very cool toothbrush (more on that later) and two toothpastes — all dentist approved and designed for children between the ages of 2 and 5. The toothpastes are different from conventional toothpastes in the way that they’re not super strong nor sickly sweet. The tastes are mild and fresh and designed with young taste buds in mind.

Hint of Mint is a child-friendly take on the classic mint flavour but with a hint of butter-mint flavour which is absolutely delicious and gentle on little mouths. Apple Fresh is a zingier version and tastes of fresh green apples or apple lozenges. It’s sweet but not overly so. Also very tasty!

The toothpastes come in a handy pump dispenser which delivers the right amount of toothpaste onto any toothbrush or in a Buddies toothpaste cartridge, exclusively for use in a Buddies re-chargeable electric toothbrush. The pump dispensers have brilliant lids — they’re so cute and soft and can be used to play with too.

My daughter has not got an issue with conventional toothpastes but these are just so much more fun. I like to offer my daughter a variety of flavours so that she doesn’t get used to just one.

The toothbrush looks amazing and we would love to try it too. It’s one of the first rechargeable electric toothbrushes in the UK for children under 5 and it effectively cleans little teeth and comes in two designs featuring the Buddies characters.

The toothbrush can be loaded with a toothpaste cartridge that automatically dispenses just the right amount of toothpaste recommended for small children when you push down the collar of the brush. This is very handy and great for older kids who can brush their own teeth but might not get the amount of toothpaste right.

The toothbrush charging base also lights up with a comforting glow so can also be used as a nightlight. Sounds great!
