Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappy Review + A HUGE Giveaway

#ClothNappyMonday – Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappy Review
I’m really excited to write this blog post today as it’s the start of a kind of blog series within my #ClothNappyMonday blog series. I’ve recently been introduced to a cloth nappy brand called Ecopipo and am currently testing four of their nappy types (One is a brand new type that will be released soon! It’s amazing!), some cloth nappy accessories and reusable cloth pads too.
Alongside these reviews there will also be a HUGE Ecopipo cloth nappy giveaway and another one a bit later when the new type of nappy is available to purchase. It’s all very exciting and I can’t wait to share my experience using this brand. Ecopipo is a family owned business which is lovely and the nappies are made in Mexico.
The first review in this series is for the Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappy which is a wonderful cloth nappy for daytime wear. It’s available in lots of bright and stylish block colours and lots of fun and beautiful prints too. We have a stunning grey one with a contrasting turquoise hook and loop system and we also have the Daisies design that you can see in the middle below.
The Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappy is a birth to potty nappy that fits babies from 7-8 lbs/3.6 kg up to 35lbs+/16 kg and is adjustable to fit as your baby grows. If you have a small baby or need a smaller nappy for the newborn days, Ecopipo also makes newborn cloth nappies.
Let’s have a closer look at this cloth nappy and all its features:
- The nappy has a durable hook and loop (Velcro) fastening system which makes it really easy and quick to put on and take off. Velcro also ensures a good fit around the waist and it more adjustable than poppers which is the alternative fastening. Velcro can be damaged in the wash over time but Ecopipo has taken care of this problem and you get a Vecro cover with each nappy that has hook and loop fastening. You put this cover on the large bit of Velcro at the front of the nappy before washing and it protects the Velcro during the wash. There are tabs on the back too, to protect the Velcro at the back and keep them from sticking to other items in the wash.
- The nappy has a pocket that is easy to stuff and that keeps the insert in place very well. The nappy comes with a long insert that you fold and put inside. I like the inserts — they are very absorbent and I like that it’s all in one piece, making it easy to keep track of it in the wash and convenient to dry too. The insert is made of one-third microfibers and two-thirds organic bamboo for maximum absorbency. You can see a photo of the insert further down in this post.
- The outer layer of the nappy is made of waterproof, good quality PUL (Polyurethane Laminate) which is the most popular fabric used in cloth nappy covers. It’s a soft fabric that is coated to make it waterproof. It’s very flexible and feels nice to touch.
- The inner layer is lined with soft microfleece which washes well and keeps your baby’s bottom dry as it wicks the moisture through to the insert below. A really great feature is the double ultra-soft elastic gusset system that is amazing at ensuring that there are no leaks!
“Ecopipo One Size Pocket Nappies are made using ethically sourced, eco-friendly fabrics to provide maximum comfort for your baby and total peace of mind for you.”
Let’s have a look at the fit! The fit of a nappy is very important to the success of using it. It needs to fit snuggly but comfortably on your baby and needs to be adjustable to fit as your baby grows bigger.
- The Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappy has poppers on the front so that you can make the nappy the right size for your child. My toddler is 22 months old and on the larger side so I don’t fasten any of the poppers for her. The Velcro hook and loop ensure a perfect fit around the waist.
- The nappy has a soft and durable, stretchy elastic at the back that ensures a snug but comfortable fit without causing any marks on your baby’s delicate skin. It also keeps any poos safely inside the nappy!
- The Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappy fits beautifully around my toddlers legs without leaving any gaps which is just what you look for in a nappy because gaps can mean leaks.
We are very pleased with our two Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappies! They fit really well, have lots of great features and the absorbency is brilliant too. I wash the nappies at 40-60 degrees and line dry the covers and sometimes tumble dry the inserts if it’s raining or too cold outside. They wash very well and don’t take too long to dry at all which is important to me. If I wash with some coloured items, a small amount of fluff sometimes sticks to the inside of the nappy but this really doesn’t matter and it’s easily removed with a lint roller.
Ecopipo Onesize Pocket Nappies cost £12.99/£13.99 each which is good value for their great quality! Ecopipo onesize pocket nappies were shortlisted as a finalist for the Mother & Baby Award in 2017 which is well-deserved!

What a fab review! Ecopipos are one of the few that I haven’t tried but your review has most certainly put them on the watch list :) You got a great fit with them as well which is always a bonus!
Keep an eye out for more Ecopipo reviews coming soon! :)
I love my ecopipo wrap and I’d really like to try their full nappy systems! They have some really cute patterns.
I love Ecopipo! I only have one of their one size fits all nappies, which I used with my now three year old and now with my ten month old. Would love to win more! Cloth nappies are much better for containment in my experience, and obviously it’s great for the environment too!
fingers crossed, would love to increase our stash ! :)
I would love to win these. I am not new to cloth in fact I run nappy library and these would be a fantastic addition for our kits.

Fab review. I love and use Ecopipo already but nice to see the message about how great they are getting out.
I didn’t know much about Ecopipo nappies before this post, so thanks for the info! They sound great, and I really want to try them.
I’d love to win this! Just at the start of our cloth nappy journey and have used a borrowed ecopipo pocket nappy to try with my 3 month year old. So soft and quick drying yet a leak proof nappy you can rely on!
I have one Ecopipo and am in love. Would love to win this bundle for my rainbow due in Sept x
Great review. Very detailed. I’d love to win so that I could try Ecopipo nappies and boost our stash, allowing us to use less disposables. Thanks
Fab review. As a beginner due in June I’m so glad I found this blog!
Love to win these as it’s a brand we’ve never heard of before although we’ve cloth bummed right from the start!
Wow these look amazing, I haven’t heard of them before but I will defo look into them now! Thanks
Very thorough review. I would have loved to do cloth with my 2nd but I couldn’t convince my husband :-(
I’m hoping for a 3rd in the near future and a ready made stash of gorgeous nappies might just sway him. If not I can always donate them to the refuge
I haven’t had the pleasure of trying an ecopipo nappy on my 6 month old yet, but I would love to try them out…they are one of the brands on my list for real nappy week…they look great and seem good value for money as well x
Fab review. I would really like to win the ecopipo bundle as we’re still building up our stash and finding good velcro nappies is much harder as there’s less choice.
Love the grey one. Never tried these so would love to give them a go to eek out the number of days we can go disposable free!
These sound fab!!
I would love to win as I’m hoping to switch to cloth for our next baby due in August. I’m making a huge effort to reduce our waste and especially plastic waste, and moving to cloth is definitely on the list. I’m a complete newbie when it comes to it, but eager to learn B)
Fantastic review. Would love to win the bundle, as although I have tried some nappies, I have yet to try the whole ecopipo range and you’ve made it sound so good
Seeing a lot of good reviews about these nappies! I’d love to win this bundle to give them a go. We are still finding our feet with cloth and enjoying trying different brands.
I would love to try these nappies. I’ve heard such good things about them! One can never have too many nappies!! ????
I’m 34 weeks into my first pregnancy at the age of 42 and very excited. I care about the earth and environment and really looking eco friendly nappies for our baby girl. As a child my brothers and I all had cloth nappies and to me that makes sense. The Ecopipo nappies sounds like the perfect way to go.
We are new to cloth nappies here and I’d love a kit like this to get us started. We really want to make the switch due to the amount of disposable nappies we put into landfill. It’s something that’s really bothered me recently and as a household we are trying to do our bit to reduce our waste. The cost implications of getting set up however is something which is holding us back so this would be a huge help. Thanks ❤️
We haven’t tried Ecopipo but would love to – always nice to support a family business, even on the other side of the world!!
We would love to try ecopipo nappies as they are so often reccomended!
Great review, my little one is 4 months old and I’d love to win this to get us started with reusables. Knowing where to start is a complete minefield! Reviews like these make it a bit clearer! These nappies are lovely and colourful.
This is a great review. As an expectant mum to be (17th may) i have been doing so much research on cloth nappies. I cant wait to get my stash going. These look fab and really user friendly.

Hearing a lot about this brand right now, would love to give them a try!
I hadn’t realised Ecopipo had a range of nappies. I’ll need to source the whole set for Bedfordshire Real Nappy Library (and test them on my 20mo of course!).
Fantastic giveaway!
I’m new to this and this post has got me excited to take the plunge.
I’d be interested to try Ecopipo, having never heard of them to see them in the media twice in one week!
These look great! I’ve heard such positive things about these nappies and would love to give them a go
perfect for my niece
I would looove try these with my baby – we currently have the terry nappy system as most traditional and cheapest :P
yes im new too these nappies lol x
We are currently in weaning and going through a lot of nappies. I had hoped I would have been eligible for the free baby box (Scotland) but missed out by a month (!) – there was one in there which I’d have loved to have tried but ended up buying disposables instead. So, I would love to try this to cut down on how much is going to landfill and to save in the long run.
We’re just trialing the ecopips through our local cloth library – loving them!
they have such brilliant reviews and soak up the little spills rather well
I would love to try these for my first born due in August
Have never used cloth nappies before, so this would be a good starter pack :)

We’re currently pregnant with our second child and used disposables with our first. We never considered reusable as I worked full time and thought it would be too much work. What a great review! My one year old has been in cloth since he was 10 weeks and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made – not just for my baby but also for my bank balance and for the planet! We’ve tried a few different brands but I’ve not heard of Ecopipo before so I’d love to give them a go. Fingers crossed!

Love the brand, the promoters here in UK are very helpful as it is this review. I love how everybody contributed with the environment and I am in love with the print. I work in childcare and I can’t wait to build up our stash to show the nrw prints to our mothers. Good luck everyone! -and myself-
This would be perfect for my friend who’s expecting.
I used cloth nappies for my two boys and now one of them has given us a grand daughter I’m so pleased the ecologically they and their friends are being ecologically sound by going back to a new version of cloth nappies.
I’ve not used cloth nappies before but my second is due end of May so it would be great to try. They look really nice, & think of the bin space you can save !

I’d love to win because I’m really keen to try and improve my impact on the environment – I’m new to cloth nappies but feel they could be a great solution!
New addition to the family expected later this year. Haven’t used nappies like these before, though used (terry) cloth nappies many years ago.
I wanted to try cloth nappies as i use cloth sanitary pads myself but the upfront cost put me off as I had so many other things to buy baby at the time. There isn’t a nappy library local to me so I didn’t have the option to risk it either. I love reviews like this as they’re so helpful
I would love to win this! Only saw Ecopipo on the BBC review the other day. Have been to Mexico a couple of times and have never heard or seen them. We have been in cloth for 6 months now, mostly second hand so would love to win some new ones and review them :-)

Amazing review and will definitely love to win this bundle! I can’t honestly wait for my baba to be born, I’ve been preparing for this for so long and feel that cloth nappies are the best choice for us.
I spend far too much on nappies! I always wanted cloth nappies but disposable were more convenient at the time. Oh how my mind has changed!
A great review thank you! I am a soon to be first time mum and I am wanting to use cloth nappies. I am a little overwhelmed with all the different types and brands and this review really helped. Thank you.
