Father’s Day Gift Guide 2017 – My Favourite Gift Ideas
|Father’s Day Gift Guide 2017 – My Favourite Gift Ideas
It’s nearly Father’s Day again and why not spoil your dad or the father of your children with a few special treats to celebrate what a great dad he is?
Here are my favourite gift ideas that the dads I know would love.
- Beer or Ale
My husband loves beer and drinks ale too as a treat when we’re out sometimes so on special occasions I like to buy him some interesting bottles that he might not treat himself too. This set is called the Wild Card Beer Variety Pack and consists of four craft beers (Jack of Clubs ruby ale, Queen of Diamonds light amber outrageously hopped IPA, King of Hearts light and refreshing blonde and Ace of Spades classic black London Porter with red undertones) and only costs £9.95.
- Man Grooming
Some grooming gear is almost essential for Father’s Day if your dad or partner is the shaving type. My husband and father-in-law are both bearded nowadays but this set from Cornerstone is amazing! Their sets contain everything a man needs for a smooth and comfortable shave. The products are great quality — I’m testing them myself and will be back with a full review and a giveaway soon. It’s a very affordable subscription service that you tailor to your needs.
- Hot Stuff
My husband loves hot sauces so they’re always a safe option for a gift for him. This Modern Cocktails Gourmet BBQ Sauces gift set, available from John Lewis for £10.00, looks fun and really cute. It contains a variety of four Gourmet BBQ Sauces — Hot & Spicy, Original Recipe, Hickory BBQ and Sweet Heat BBQ Sauces.
- Nice Tipple
This is another classic! Pick up his favourite spirit or one he’s always wanted to try and you have a great gift. My husband likes whisky and scotch but he’s not tried Monkey Shoulder yet as far as I know. This Monkey Shoulder Cocktail Jar Gift Set (£25.95) looks great and you get a nice branded cocktail jar to enjoy your drinks from with your full sized bottle.
- Father’s Day Breakfast
If you can, make his favourite breakfast to celebrate Father’s Day. Most British men love a fry up so that’s probably a safe choice. Or why not a full fry up in biscuit form? I would prefer that! Biscuiteers make absolutely scrumptious biscuits that are handmade and decorated beautifully. They’re really fun too! Check out this Father’s Day Big Breakfast Biscuit Tin (£39.50) that contains all the fry up essentials and more.
- Something Sentimental
This beautiful square wooden keyring (£18.00) can be personalised with your child’s own drawing and would make a perfect gift for children to give to their dad this Father’s Day. It’s so sweet, fun and personal and I’m sure all dads would love it! Maria Allen is a boutique that makes handmade personalised gifts and they have lots of great gift options for Father’s Day.
- Sweet Treat
If the dad you’re celebrating has a sweet tooth, treat him to something a bit special like this amazing looking Hotel Chocolat Billionaire’s Shortbread Slab (£16.00 for 500g). It’s a luxurious blend of irresistible caramel and milk chocolate, finished off with a dusting of crispy shortcake biscuits, presented in contemporary and stylish packaging perfect for gifting. Yum!
