Kellogg’s Special K Nourish Range Review – Feed Your Inner Strength
I vary between a few different things for my breakfasts. I go through phases of eating porridge with different toppings, toast with cheeky chocolate spread and cheese or cereal of different types. Cereal is definitely the quickest and easiest option and that’s my current breakfast of choice as a busy, sleep-deprived mum of two! Mornings are quite hectic at the moment as my husband and I try to feed ourselves, get our two girls changed and dressed, get breakfast for our toddler and breastfeed our baby (I take care of that bit!) in a very short space of time. I also try to express breast milk most mornings so we’re quite busy there for a bit!
Cereal is what we all eat at the moment and Kellogg’s Special K have just released a new range of yummy cereals packed with nutrients and delicious ingredients to empower women to be at their strongest to tackle the day ahead. That sounds ideal to me!
The new range is called Special K Nourish and there are three different flavours that all have a combination of flakes, clusters and seeds and a mix of purposeful ingredients to give a positive and healthy start to the day as part of a balanced breakfast. I eat my cereal with natural or Greek yoghurt or with milk. I usually add a banana too.
The three tasty variants available are:
- Nourish Dark Berries which is a nutritious blend of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and redcurrants. It’s a summery mix that’s a bit tart and not too sweet.
- Nourish Dark Chocolate & Coconut with a wonderful combination of dark chocolate curls and coconut shavings. Absolutely delicious and perfect for us who love a sweeter treat! This is my favourite flavour.
- Nourish Nuts & Seeds with a scrumptious mix of hazelnuts, almonds and pumpkin seeds. It’s a wholesome and delicious flavour combination and my husband’s favourite out of these three.
These new cereals from Special K help build strength from within as they’re a source of vitamin D which is important for healthy bones and vitamin B2 which helps fight tiredness and fatigue.
All three flavours are lovely — the only thing I would change is to add more clusters because they are so nice and the cereal would be even better if there were more of them.
Find out more about Special K Nourish and buy from your local supermarket. The RRP is £2.99 for 330g and they’re available in all major supermarkets.
I was sent these cereals for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
