Peacebird Spring Wardrobe Update – Peacebird Review

For quite a few years now, I’ve been working on making my wardrobe a capsule wardrobe with only items that I love and actually wear on a regular basis. For me, this was best done over time as I realised which items I really loved wearing and which ones had to go. 

I still occasionally get a few new pieces to update my wardrobe when something needs replacing, updating for the season or my style or activities change. 

In this blog post, I’ll show you a couple of items that I have from Peacebird as a little spring wardrobe update and a beautiful dress that my middle daughter has been lucky enough to add to her fancy dress collection.

• V-Neck Rainbow Striped  Top

I love the retro look of this cute v neck rainbow top! It’s a soft and stretchy top made from mainly cotton. The fit is cropped, the neck a v-neck cut and the top has fake buttons running down the middle of the front.

I like to wear cropped tops with dresses sometimes – either under or over it, depending on the style of the dress and the top. The colours are perfect for spring and summer and this top has added a bit of fun into my wardrobe. It’s comfortable to wear and washes well too.

• Solid Zip Up Wind Jacket

Jackets are kind of my thing – in proportion to the rest of my wardrobe, my outerwear selection is definitely big. The weather here in the UK is ever changing so you need suitable coats to choose from for the different variations. 

Something I didn’t have was a lightweight wind jacket for spring and when I spotted this on the Peacebird website, I fell in love with the bright red colour. It’s also available in black which I looked at first but I’m so happy I went with this beautiful red shade.

This Red windbreaker is a sporty, street-style jacket that’s perfect for the transitional weather of spring and autumn. The oversized, loose fit looks good and is very comfortable no matter what you’re wearing underneath. 

The sleeves are loose too, with cuffs at the wrists. The front features a zip with a large ring pull which is a nice detail. The jacket is nice and airy and also has reflective details which is something I always appreciate as I go walking when it’s dark sometimes. The collar is a relaxed turn-down style and the jacket has two open pockets.

This girls sequin dress is the perfect choice for special events or for dressing up in whenever you want to feel like Queen Elsa! It’s a long, Frozen-inspired dress with lots of beautiful details, shimmer, embroidery and sparkle.

It’s got a loose and comfortable fit, long sleeves, and a zip on the back. It’s truly a special dress that my middle girl is so happy to have!
