My nearly three-year-old can be quite moody but she absolutely LOVES toys with happy and smiling faces so when I spotted the Friendly crocheted baby rattle range by Pebble from BestYears.co.uk, I knew they’d be perfect for her. The range includes a bunch of Friendly Food items — some of which you’ll see in this post but there are many more to choose from too — and cacti, rainbows, clouds and more!

We have the set of 4 Friendly Fruits that consist of four crocheted, fair trade and hand made baby rattles — an apple, a pear, a pineapple and an orange. They’re adorable and colourful and made from cotton yarn. They are machine washable (yeay!) and suitable from birth. They make ideal first rattle toys for babies but also brilliant play food toys for toddlers. They are a great size for toddlers and so adorable!

I believe in a balanced diet and I’m sure my girls agree… so we have a couple of yummy cupcake rattles to go with the above fruit. We have a pink strawberry one and a blue one with a candle on top. They are so cute and my girls love them! Playing with cakes is a popular activity in our house! Other sweet things to choose from are different ice lollies and milkshakes!

Last, but not least, we have a friendly rainbow for my eldest daughter who is obsessed with rainbows! She loves this rattle so much! They’re definitely not just for babies — my eldest is 5 years old and plays with this toy loads.
