Playmobil DUCK ON CALL Ambulance Emergency Vehicle Review
|AD | Playmobil DUCK ON CALL Ambulance Emergency Vehicle Review
Have you seen the new theme world and animated series from Playmobil, DUCK ON CALL? This new range features Ducklas, who is a boy trapped in a duck’s body, as he goes on exciting missions with his friends who are a firefighter, policewoman and emergency doctor. Each of them have a cool emergency vehicle to be ready to help when needed. These have a modular design so that you can mix and match parts if you have several sets.
The new Playmobil sets and animated series are designed for children aged 3-5 years to provide lots of fun play opportunities. As well as the different rescue vehicles, there are also other sets in this range, big and small to expand the play.
We have the Playmobil DUCK ON CALL 70916 Ambulance Emergency Vehicle which my 3-year-old adores! You can tell that the range has been made for younger children – everything is really easy for her to do but the set also has plenty of features that make it fun for bigger kids too. My older two, aged 6 and 8, both love playing with this set as well.
The set includes 31 pieces:
Figures: 1 Ducklas, 1 Mikey Medic, 1 child patient; Accessories: 1 emergency doctor car with light and sound module, 1 container, 1 rescue stretcher with mobile base, 1 cabinet door, 1 first aid kit, 1 hose, 1 breathing mask, 1 band-aid sheet
The ambulance is easy to assemble even for young children by following the simple instructions. The rescue vehicle features lots of cool effects like tilt-steering, a fold out rescue container and light and sound effects powered by 1 x 1.5 AAA battery (not included). These can be turned off if needed in a place that small children won’t figure our where it is.
The set includes two child figures and one duck and plenty of accessories to play out different scenarios. The plasters and bandages sticker sheet is a fun addition too!
DUCK ON CALL is available at Playmobil.co.uk. Prices start from £14.99 and the sets are also available from other toy retailers like Amazon.co.uk.
