Probio7 Life Yogurt Maker Review
|Probio7 Life Yogurt Maker Review | AD
Making your own yogurt at home is a great way to reduce your plastic waste and to ensure that the yogurt you eat only contains ingredients that you’re happy with. One of the reasons many people choose to eat yogurt is because of the live bacteria that it contains and the benefits this can have on your gut health. When you buy yogurt from the shop, there’s no guarantee that the good bacteria are live or that the dosage or the strains are correct for supporting gut health.
The good news is that it’s now super easy to make your own live yogurt at home using the Probio7 Life Yogurt Maker.
Probio7 are experts in gut health and have an extensive range of healthy products for all ages and now their very own yogurt making products.
Their handy Probio7 Life Yogurt Making Kit contains everything you need to get started making your own live yogurt at home – including 6 billion friendly bacteria from 3 well-researched strains in each serving, selected specifically to support your gut health.
The kit includes:
- 1x yogurt making machine
- 8x 125ml ceramic pots
- 2x 250ml ceramic pots
- 1x Greek strainer
- 1x recipe booklet
- 1x 1 Litre Jersey UHT whole milk
- 1x Probio7 Happy Gut bacteria sachet
- 1x Glass bottle for mixing
It’s really easy to get started. Wash the ceramic pots and the bottle so that they’re ready to use. Then add the milk and the contents of the Probio7 Happy Gut bacteria sachet to the glass bottle and shake to mix.
Add water to your yogurt making machine according to the instructions. Choose whether you want to use the large or the small ceramic pots and put them in the machine, then fill with the milk/bacteria mix and add their lids. Then put the lid on the machine and select the yogurt making programme.
There are other programmes available too and lots of recipe inspiration ideas in the booklet and instructions.
After 8 hours, your yogurt is done and should be moved to the fridge. Leave if for 24 hours if you can for the best results, then your delicious, creamy, homemade yogurt is ready to be enjoyed.
You can use any UHT milk, but Jersey milk has more calcium and protein than regular milk and contains lots of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants (and more potassium than bananas!). The milk proteins in Jersey milk are also easier to digest than milk from other breeds and, of course, Jersey milk makes the creamiest yogurt. Jersey cows also have a lower ecological footprint since they have more efficient digestive systems that lets them produce more milk with 30% less feed.
You can order more Jersey milk and Probio7 Happy Gut bacteria sachets online and even set up a subscription if you want to.
Making your own yogurt at home is a great thing to do for your health and to reduce your household’s use of single-use plastic and waste.
