SuperQuesters: The Case of the Stolen Sun | Fun STEM Activities

QuestFriendz is a new children’s publishing company that is on a mission to make STEM learning fun and accessible for all children. Their aim is to encourage a love of STEM learning from a young age through their books that feature interactive reading adventures with STEM activities (called STEM quests) that help develop different important STEM skills.

Their new book is called SuperQuesters: The Case of the Stolen Sun, written by STEM experts Dr Thomas Bernard and Lisa Moss and illustrated by Amy Willcox. It’s a fun book packed full of quests! This book combined storytelling with interactive hands-on learning through the quests. The book includes over 100 reusable stickers as well as a reward chart that children can use to celebrate their achievements.

SuperQuesters: The Case of the Stolen Sun | Fun STEM Activities

Come along on an action-packed adventure in Questland with aspirational superhero characters, Lillicorn, Bea Bumble and Leo Zoom. They need your help on their mission!

In SuperQuesters: The Case of the Stolen Sun we work at STEM skills including coding, sequencing and algorithms. The book has been designed to link in with the UK computing, maths, and science national curriculum.

The new series is aimed at children aged 4-8 years old. My 8-year-old loves this book and had fun completing all the quests. For her, it was quite easy which makes sense as she’s at the upper recommended age. We removed the stickers and then my 6-year-old had a go and she enjoyed it too.
