This book is aimed at children older than my own but my young kids are enjoying looking through it with me or with their dad. The book by Sarah Tavernier (Author), Emmanuelle Figueras (Author) and Alexandre Verhille (Illustrator) is a beautiful guide all about our home, planet Earth.

It’s full of amazing facts and illustrations. You’ll learn about the planet that is not just our home, but also the home of millions and billions of animals and plants and how it’s all connected and how it all started 4.6 billion years ago. We look at the earth’s parts, composition, the continents, the oceans and everything else. It’s a truly fascinating book and the large format makes it ideal for school environments too as several children can easily read it at the same time. 

The book focuses on how to look after our planet too and shows how we can work together to look after our home planet. How we can save water and trees, look after the environment and each other as well for a planet that is sustainable.
Precious Planet – A User’s Manual for Curious Earthlings is a gorgeous and interesting book that teaches children so many important things about our planet’s past and present and how to make sure it will be a good place for them in the future too. It’s full of practical tips too and is a fun book to read, for children and adults! We can all learn from Precious Planet.
