Who loves avocados? I do! I’ve never tried cooking with avocado oil though! I was recently introduced to The Groovy Food Company’s Virgin Avocado Oil Spray which you can pick up for £2.00. It’s a cooking spray oil which is a blend of cold pressed virgin avocado and rapeseed oils to create a creamy and delicious cooking oil suitable for frying, roasting or baking.

The Groovy Food Company is all about being good to yourself and provides healthy alternatives for every day essentials.

Each spray is just 1 calorie so this is handy if you are on a calorie-restricted diet. I’m not at all, but I do find it quite handy because I often slip with regular bottle of oils and sometimes overdo it a bit with the grease! I can’t do that with a spray bottle. This oil is also rich in omega 3 which is great!

The other ingredients in this oil are: Vegetable Oils (Avocado Oil 32%, Rapeseed Oil), water, Alcohol, Emulsifier [Sunflower Lecithin], Preservative [Citric Acid], Thickener [Xanthan Gum].

It has more ingredients than regular oil which is just oil, but it’s all natural stuff so I don’t mind. I like to use this oil on oven trays to ensure whatever I’m cooking doesn’t stick and I also like to use it for frying things like onions or peppers. It’s very convenient!
