The History of Everything in 32 Pages | Book Review

Children are very curious creatures — especially from the day they turn four years old and start asking about a million questions each day. Some of which are easy to respond to while others are not so easy and require a bit of Googling or a good book with illustrations to support the answer and help explain things to a child (and sometimes the adult too — we can’t all be specialists on all topics!).

I love having a wide range of children’s books for my kids to read to learn more about all kinds of things — especially science and nature.

Our newest addition is The History of Everything in 32 Pages by Anna Claybourne and illustrated by Jan Van Der Veken. It’s a great summary of, well, everything about the world, space, evolution… 13.8 billion years in just 32 pages!

My husband is the specialist on these topics in our family so this book is great for me to use to explain things to the kids and my 6.5-year-old loves reading it independently too.

This book was released today by Laurence King Publishing and is a brilliant visual guide to the history of the world — from Big Bang to today and our modern world.
