VOKSI Baby Nest Premium Review – The Nest Best Thing!

Baby nests have been very popular in Scandinavian countries for a long time and now they’re quite a big thing over here too. I’m from Sweden myself and when I was expecting our first baby 7 years ago, one of the first things my older sister recommended to me (and lent to me) was a baby nest. I’d never heard of one before then, but it was so useful for us. With baby number 2, we used some sleep aids too but not a traditional baby nest until she was a toddler and moving into a toddler bed.

Now, we have our third daughter who is 19 months old and we’ve recently actively started trying to get her to sleep in her own cot. We’ve been co-sleeping and that’s worked well but she’s getting bigger and taking up more space in our bed, so we want her to sleep more in her own cot. Her cot is right next to our bed and we’ve taken the side off to create a bedside cot as she’s still breastfeeding at night.

It’s clear that she misses the cuddles a bit and that’s why a baby nest is so useful when you’re trying to encourage independent sleeping. We have the brand new Voksi Baby Nest Premium and we use it for nights and for daytime naps too. Most days, our youngest has a nap in the day and then she also spends the evening sleeping in the living room where we are so use the Voksi Baby Nest Premium there too.

The Voksi Baby Nest Premium (RRP £99.00) creates a safe, cosy and comfortable environment to sleep in. The shape simulates the closeness of a parent (or the womb for newborn babies!), providing a sense of protection and warmth. It’s suitable from birth onwards and you can extend it by opening up the bottom like we have for our toddler. You simply loosen the strap at your baby’s feet to do this.

The new Baby Nest Premium features a breathable 3D Mesh Mattress with a honeycomb design for great airflow and greater safety. It’s firm but also very comfortable and provides excellent support for necks and backs. The fabric around the nest is made from 100% cotton and is nice and soft. The nest is Oeko-Tex certified and the materials are high quality and safe.

I love that it’s got a handle that makes it easy to carry and move around your house. I often put it behind the sofa between naps and the handle makes it easy to get back out.

We love using the Voksi Baby Nest Premium and it’s clear that it’s very high quality. It feels so comfortable and safe and there’s no doubt that our littlest girl loves sleeping in it. She looks so relaxed and comfortable in her Voksi Baby Nest Premium and sleeps for longer in it compared to just on a bed.

She also quite likes using in for playing in or just relaxing in when watching a bit of Peppa Pig. Must be comfortable for her!

I would highly recommend Voksi baby nests to other parents too, whether you have a new baby or a toddler that you’re trying to get to sleep more independently like us!
