Wentworth Wooden Puzzles – New National Trust Collection
|Wentworth Wooden Puzzles – New National Trust Collection
As you probably know by now, I’m a bit of a jigsaw nerd and I also love spending time in nature. That’s why I’m so pleased that my favourite jigsaw brand Wentworth Wooden Puzzles have released a new National Trust collection.
The new range is beautiful and features wildlife found at National Trust locations. It’s been designed to raise awareness of the birds and animals that call these locations home, and the conservation work the National Trust undertakes to care for them – while also providing a fun and sustainable puzzle experience.
The National Trust and Wentworth Wooden Puzzles share many common values and it’s great to see the ongoing collaboration.
Sarah Watson from Wentworth Puzzles said: “We share the same ethos as the National Trust in relation to highlighting the importance of conservation, and we are delighted to be able to support them with our latest puzzle additions. We hope that through highlighting the amazing wildlife in the UK, our collections will be embraced, and cherished by animal lovers, with the proceeds from the puzzles helping to support the National Trust.”
The jigsaw puzzles are made from wood from sustainably managed forests and the boxes are made in the UK from recycled materials. All the puzzles in the National Trust collection are completely free from single-use plastics and from the sales of this collection, a minimum of £5,000 will be given to the National Trust to help them look after nature, beauty, and history.
I’m a huge fan of Wentworth Wooden Puzzles for many reasons – the sustainability aspect, the fact that the puzzles are wooden and therefore so sturdy (a true keepsake to use for many years and then pass down as family heirlooms!) and, of course, all the fun shaped and whimsical pieces that make Wentworth jigsaws so unique and special.
The new National Trust collection consists of seven image designs which are photographs from National Trust locations. The selection shows the diversity of wildlife in the UK and all puzzles are available in 250- and 500-piece option and five of them in 1,000 pieces.
I love doing a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle as a relaxing activity (it helped me so much during the pandemic!) and have the Puffins On Farne Island jigsaw puzzle from the new National Trust range that my husband and I built recently.
This is a beautiful nature jigsaw puzzle with one of the country’s favourite birds – puffins! It was our first 1,000 piece Wentworth Wooden Puzzles jigsaw and it was quite a challenging one with the sky being nearly all the same colour and the puffins looking quite similar too. I started with the edges which is not always easy with shaped pieces, then worked away on the cliffs while my husband started on the sky. Then we did the rest together.
There are so many whimsical pieces in this jigsaw, and they match the theme of the puzzle too – there’s even a puffin-shaped piece.
We absolutely love this puzzle and the new beautiful National Trust range from Wentworth Wooden Puzzles.
This jigsaw was kindly provided to us for this feature. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
