Where to Travel to in the US?
|Where to Travel to in the US?
Planning to travel to (or within) the United States of America is a big event. The USA is a huge country with lots of different types of travel destinations so there’s something for everyone. I have travelled to the US a few times and have visited different areas for each trip which has been great as I’ve been able to see some of the variations in places that the US has to offer. In this post, I’ll share a few of the places that I have travelled to in America and what’s great in these cities.
Whatever the destination, you need a good plan for your holiday. Book your flights with plenty of time before you travel, make sure you know all the travel rules and guidelines and don’t forget to book your accommodation beforehand using Ebooking to book hotels online. This will save you money, time and hassle plus give you the peace of mind of knowing where you will be sleeping during your trip.
- San Francisco
San Francisco is an impressive city on the west coast. It’s full of iconic landmarks if you’re into sightseeing – the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz prison, the Coit Tower and Fisherman’s Wharf to mention a few. It’s a great city for fine dining and culture – day and night, and it is fun to travel up and down the steep hills via the adorable cable cars to see the city. San Francisco is also a wonderful place for hiking and there are many brilliant trails to explore.
- New York City
Up north and on the east side of the country, we have New York City. New York is one of the most famous cities in the whole world. Nick-named the “Big Apple”, it’s an amazing city full of things to do and discover. See the sights, head to Broadway for a show, enjoy food culture from all around the world and a great nightlife. New York is one of the “Big Four” fashion capitals and a great place for shopping in exclusive shops and boutiques. If you’re into art, New York also has some of the best galleries and museums in the world to explore. The relatively small city consists of lots of tall buildings and skyscrapers but the huge Central Park in the middle of it all brings nature into the big city life and balances it all very well.

- Orlando
Orlando, Florida, is the place to go if you love going to theme parks. This city in central Florida has a huge selection of theme parks, including Disney World, Magic Kingdom, Sea World as well as other fun places to visit like water parks, Universal Studios, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Legoland Florida. It’s a great US travel destination for both grown ups and kids who love fun days out. When doing a theme park trip to Orlando, I recommend doing one day out, one day at the hotel and so on so that you have time to rest too.
