Alteya Organics Skincare Products Review

Skincare is one of my passions and I love trying new products, especially natural and organic ones. A new-to-me brand that I’ve been exploring recently is Alteya Organics which is a beauty brand that produces certified organic skincare and body care.

The factory is located in the Rose Valley of Bulgaria, complete with organic rose and lavender farms to use for organic essential oils and organic floral waters.

I’m currently testing a bunch of products from Alteya Organics and will share information and my experience using the products here in this blog post.

• 100% Pure Base Oils – Jojoba and Rosehip Seed

Let’s start with these wonderful oils! When autumn arrives, I always start using oils for my skincare as I find them to be a convenient and efficient way to hydrate and nourish my skin during the colder parts of the year.

Organic Jojoba Oil is a great choice for both skin and hair as it doesn’t leave a greasy residue thanks to being similar to our own skin’s sebum. It absorbs quickly into my skin with a quick massage. I love using this one in the morning as some studies show that Jojoba oil might offer natural protection from UV rays too which is a nice bonus.

Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil is very rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids Omega 3 & 6. It’s a powerful multi-purpose oil that soothes, softens, and hydrates skin deeply. It’s especially great for reducing signs of sun damage and evening out skin tone which is why I love to use it as an overnight treat to let the oil work its magic while I sleep, letting me wake up with skin that looks more radiant and healthier. You can also use it on your hair or on any dry parts of your body, or as a carrier oil when making your own massage oil.

• Organic Bulgarian Chamomile Water

I was really curious to try this product to help refresh and balance my skin. There’s not been much sleep recently, combined with way too much stress, so I need a little boost like this.

Alteya’s Bulgarian Chamomile Flower Water is made with fresh, organic Chamomile flowers and is a wonderful product to awaken and tone tired skin. It also helps hydrate the skin and calms irritation and inflammation. The scent is uplifting, and I really enjoy using this product, taking in the fresh aroma and feeling the soothing benefits.

I use it on my face and neck with a reusable facial pad but you can use it all over your body or in the roots of your hair too – or just enjoy a quick spritz for the refreshing scent.

• Organic Facial Cleanser & Wash – Grapefruit & Zdravetz

One of the best ways to feel more awake in the morning is to wash your face – especially with a face wash as fresh as this one! It’s a gentle facial cleanser enriched with pure essential oils. It cleanses skin well, leaving it fresh and soft. Grapefruit and Zdravetz oils do not only smell amazing but also help to balance skin.

I use this product in the morning – you only need a small amount on wet hands to make a lather to wash your face and neck. I follow with a bit of Jojoba oil or a moisturiser with SPF. The wash feels great on my skin, the scent is wonderful and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or looking red like some cleansers.

• Organic Rose Otto Cleansing Milk

To cleanse my skin at the end of the day, I love using this luxurious cleansing milk. It’s a soothing and nourishing formula that cleanses, balances, and moisturises the skin with anti-aging properties from rose oil that brightens and rejuvenates tired skin and leaving it soft and renewed.

I don’t usually wear any make-up, but I do wear SPF most days so it’s important for me to cleanse my skin before bed for that reason. I love how the milky formula feels on my skin, it’s so calming to take a little bit of time to massage the product into my skin, then rinsing it off with warm water. It has become a lovely part of my bedtime skincare routine.

• Organic Hand Soap Eucalyptus & Tea Tree

It’s the small things that can make life feel more luxurious and opting for a high-quality hand wash is one of those little things that makes a big difference. We wash our hands so many times each day, and a soap that smells great and that cares for your skin is a lovely little treat to make life a little bit more enjoyable.

Alteya’s Organic Hand Soap is a foaming soap that cleans your hands and contains a refreshing blend of Eucalyptus (one of my favourite scents!) and Tea Tree pure essential oils.

Eucalyptus Oil enhances the soap’s cleansing properties with its ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria and Tea Tree oil is great at fighting bacteria, viruses and fungi and might help skin heal faster too thanks to its antiseptic properties.

The soap also contains Grapefruit essential oil (another favourite of mine) for the fresh scent and antimicrobial activity and Cedarwood essential oil that helps soothe sensitive skin.

The formula is nourishing with Coconut, Olive, and Almond oil for long-lasting hydration and to soften the skin on your hands.

What a treat handwashing has become since using this wonderful hand wash! The kids love it too!
