BabyLit Books Review – Gorgeous Books for Babies!
|BabyLit Books Review – The Most Gorgeous Books for Babies!
I am in love with BabyLit books! They are gorgeous, square and chunky board books for babies and toddlers with amazingly beautiful illustrations and are loosely based on literature classics. The books are primers so focus on different topics. Alice In Wonderland is all about colours and Romeo & Juliet is about counting, for example.
The books are so cute and I love them as much as my baby does! My little girl is only 6 months old but loves the illustrations and tries to turn the pages. I’m sure she’ll love them even more when she’s a bit older.
The idea of making baby books based on classics is great – fun for parents and a great way to introduce some of your favourites to your child.
I want the whole collection for my kids and so far I’ve got two – Little Master Carroll: Alice In Wonderland and Little Miss Brontë: Wuthering Heights. The Alice In Wonderland BabyLit book was actually the first ever book I bought for my little girl.
On the top of my BabyLit Books wish list are:
- Little Miss Shelley: Frankenstein
- Little Master Kipling: The Jungle Book
- Little Master Baum: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
- Little Master Melville: Moby-Dick
- Little Master Conan Doyle: Sherlock Holmes in the Hound of the Baskervilles
- Little Master Shakespeare: Romeo & Juliet
I only meant to make a Top 3 Wish List but I love them all so much! So these are the six BabyLit books I wish for the most but one day I’ll have a baby library of the whole collection, I’m sure. Books are good for you!
Just look how cute they are! Well done Jennifer Adams and Alison Oliver! Keep them coming!
