Bluey: The Videogame Review – Nintendo Switch | AD

Bluey is the BAFTA and Emmy® Award-winning animated preschool series that is loved equally by children and parents. Bluey fans around the world will be excited as the first ever Bluey video game has just been released by Outright Games, on the 17th of November.

In Bluey: The Videogame, you can join in the fun with Bluey and her family and play across a brand-new story set across four interactive adventures. Explore iconic locations such as the Heeler House, Playgrounds, Creek, and a bonus beach location. You can also play your favourite games from the TV show, including Keepy Uppy, Chattermax Chase, Magic Xylophone, and more.

Play as Bluey and her family members – Dad Bandit, Mum Chilli, and little sister Bingo. You can play on your own or in local multiplayer mode (up to 4 players), co-operating with your friends and family in story mode and free play.

The game is all about fun and is not difficult to play – it’s suitable from 3 years onwards so young Bluey fans can join in with the exciting games and fun challenges too. The game has been designed to be flexible so that it can be enjoyed by players of different ages. This has been done by including UI on/off toggle, and a choice between simple written on-screen instructions and full voice-over.

Experience the wonderful world of Bluey and complete activities to earn in-game rewards including stickers for your sticker book, new outfits/costumes, playable episodes, and locations. Explore your surroundings to uncover hidden references and secrets in each location too.

You can recreate iconic moments from the show or create your own Bluey inspired adventures when playing Bluey: The Videogame. The game features the official voices from the show too which is great!

My kids are aged 4, 6 and 9 and they all love watching Bluey and now love playing this wonderful game that lets them enter the world of Bluey and interact with the characters. I would say that the best age for the game is around 4-6 years.
