This month, Outright Games, the leading global publisher of family-friendly interactive entertainment, in partnership with Hasbro, officially launched their first game of the year: PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance. We’ve been testing the game on Nintendo Switch and love it!

About PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance

When playing this game, you jump into the dynamic and colourful world of the TV series PJ Masks: Power Heroes. This is a very popular pre-school series with lots of young fans!

It’s a single-player, side-scrolling adventure game suitable for fans of all ages (3 years and above). Play as Catboy, Owlette, Gekko, Newton Star, An Yu, Ice Cub and Bastet. Get started and embark on a mission across the globe and to the stars.

There are four unique locations to explore, master missions to complete, and puzzles to solve. You solve these by utilising the characters’ individual special abilities. Plus, you can even take a ride in the Explorider which is the official PJ Masks all-purpose vehicle. Equally important, you also need to avoid obstacles left by the mischievous villains Luna Girl, Night Ninja and Romeo. As well as that, you need to be ready to confront the main baddies in epic boss battles. Undoubtedly, you will have lots of exciting fun with this game!

adaptive playability features

There are many adaptive playability features to choose from to ensure accessibility for different ages. For example, there are easy enemy AI options, magnetic gems, and jump assistance. These options help younger players jump straight into the action. Also, I think it’s great that the game features full voiceover and options for colour-blind players too.

Age Suitability

All three of my kids (aged 5, 7, and 10) have grown up enjoying the TV shows PJ Masks and PJ Masks: Power Heroes. Though they all love games, my eldest is the gamer in our household, the main person who plays Nintendo Switch games. Because of the age recommendation of 3+, I wasn’t sure if she would be the right age group for PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance at 10.

As soon as she started playing the game however, I could see that it was suitable for her age. I installed it on the Nintendo Switch for her, and she got straight into playing the game. Instantly, she got hooked, and exclaimed that it was a great game. Consequently, I can see that it’s a fantastic game for her at age 10 and I can also see it being great for younger players who are just getting started with gaming too.

PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance is available on all consoles (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) and PC now.
