The Cheeky Elf Christmas Elf Twin Starter Pack Deluxe Review
Being from Sweden, I’ve only heard about the Christmas Elf tradition over the past few years as I’ve seen it mentioned on blogs and YouTube. I thought it looked like fun for kids and now that my two girls are a bit older, I think they’ll really enjoy this tradition too.
This year, we will be joining in and we’re doing the Cheeky Elf Christmas tradition. We have a lovely Elf Twin Starter Pack Deluxe which contains everything we need for both girls:
- 20cm boy Elf soft toy with Velcro hands and poseable arms
- 20cm girl Elf soft toy with model has Velcro hands and poseable arms
- 2 Elf passports
- Letter from Santa
- 2 x Colourful Christmas Journals to record memories and Elf antics and insert photos
- 2 x Christmas Behaviour Charts with star stickers
- 2 x Candy canes
- 2 Christmas Elf Report Cards
- Parent pack with instructions and Elf ideas
- Gift box with North Pole Postmark
- 2 x Elf Sleeping Bags
- 2 x Elf Christmas Jumpers
The elves and their accessories are packaged in a fun gift box with a North Pole postmark but is delivered in discreet postal packaging so that the kids don’t get suspicious! The letter from Santa explains to your children that the Elves have been sent to stay with them in the run up to Christmas to report back to Santa on how they are behaving but also to have some fun!
The information included explains everything you need to know, if you’re new to the whole Elf thing like I am. Every night when the family is asleep, the Elves come to life and get up to all sorts of fun and mischief around the house. In the morning when your children get up, they need to go and find where their Elf is hiding to discover what he or she has been up to overnight. It’s a great way to get the kids out of bed on cold, dark December mornings!
The things the Elves do can sometimes be cheeky and sometimes they might bring a gift or an activity and other times they might just have done something silly. You can be as creative as you wish but there’s also a handy list of ideas in the pack if you’re struggling to think of things or just want to make it easier for yourself. I really appreciate the list as I’ve never done the Elf tradition before. I’ll probably use it a lot!
On Christmas Eve, the Elves must go back to help Santa with the Christmas preparations for next year, so then you leave them out with their passports and report cards. Then you pack them away until next year.
It’s a really lovely and fun tradition and it helps you create magical Christmas memories every day in the run up to Christmas. I can see that the kids will absolutely love this new tradition of ours and I can’t wait to get started!
The Cheeky Elf Elves are amazing quality and so well made. I’m really impressed with them! I love the Velcro hands and poseable arms which makes them extra fun to play with. The sleeping bags and Christmas jumpers that you get in the Deluxe set are so cute too.
I also really like that you get so many things in your box to help you and the behaviour charts will be great for encouraging good behaviour before Christmas.
The Deluxe set costs £37.99 which is good value for everything you get and the quality of the items. You can also buy single elf packs starting from £21.99 and extra accessories too. Visit the Cheeky Elf website to see them all.
This month, you can also use the offer code WEB200 which gives £2 off Elf packs when entered at the checkout. This offers runs until the end of October 2017.
