Dr Denim Cropa Cabana Cropped Skinny Jeans Review
These bright jeans in Raspberry by Dr Denim from House of Fraser are perfect for summer. They are very high waisted which is flattering for most body shapes and gives great support and coverage.
These jeans are regular length and skinny. The combination of 98% cotton on 2% elastane make them stretcthy though so they are very comfortable to wear. The denim is medium thick which is great when it’s warmer. They can be machine washed at 30°C with similar colours.
The high waist in combination with the cropped legs give the jeans a very retro look. I’ve never really worn cropped trousers before but it’s great for spring and summer. Cropped jeans look good with petite shoes like these newish H&M ballet shoes that I bought a bit over a month ago. I’m wearing them all the time since it’s so warm this year and they go so well with these jeans.
I love bright colours and have always wanted a bright pair of jeans. Red is one of my favourite colours too! Wearing colourful jeans is a great way to make your outfit more fun and vibrant really easily.
When I wear skinny jeans I like to wear them with a more loose fitting top. This one covers the high waist but for me the high waist is more about feeling supportive and offering me the flexibility to move around and sit down without showing my pants. I also find high waisted jeans a lot more comfortable to wear because the seams seem to always be in the right place and nothing feels like it’s digging in.
I’m very happy with my summery wardrobe update and these crop jeans will be worn a lot this summer. To make them suitable for evening wear, you can team them with some high heels, a party top and a matching raspberry red lipstick.
House of Fraser currently have a huge sale on and lots of heavily reduced jeans from Dr Denim. See them all here. This pair is supposed to cost £50 but is now only £12.50!
I was sent this pair of jeans for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
