I’m sure you will have heard of the benefits of using a standing desk when you’re working. It’s great for overall health and productivity too. Other benefits include better posture, lower blood sugar levels, improved mood, higher energy levels, reduced risk of back pain and reduced risk of weight gain to mention just a few.

If you’re working from home, I highly recommend investing in a standing desk for your home office. Both my husband and I work from home most of the time and having decent standing desks have made a huge difference to our working environment as it makes it easy to ensure that we are in ergonomic positions while sitting or standing while working at our desks.

I already had a great standing desk from FlexiSpot and now my husband has one too, the newest addition to FlexiSpot’s range of standing desks – the Q8 (8 in1) Standing Desk which you can see in the picture above.

The Q8 (8 in1) Standing Desk is eco-friendly and sustainable with a gorgeous 140x70cm desktop made of bamboo which is strong, durable, environmentally friendly and has natural antibacterial properties too. I love bamboo and our other standing desk from FlexiSpot has a bamboo desktop too and we have several other bamboo details in our office as well.

I love the look of the stunning curved bamboo tabletop and also love the look of the oval columns of the table legs which look very sleek. You can choose between black and white for the table legs. We went for black to match our other desk.

The new Q8 Standing Desk also has lots of cool and useful features which we’ll look at below:

• Diverse charging options. This desk has built-in wireless charging which is amazing! It can adapt to most wireless charging devices and is a great way to charge your phone while you’re working but still keeping it accessible for use when needed. The table does also have two outputs so that you can plug things in if you want to.

• Built in storage. Under the desktop, at the front in the middle, there’s an embedded drawer. It’s so handy to have some built-in storage to reduce clutter on the desk. A tidy workspace is very important for productivity. The drawer is quite shallow but really wide and quite deep so can hold more than you think. Perfect for notebooks, pens and all those tech bits and bobs that always end up cluttering desks!
• Clever design & functions. This desk features an anti-collision system that can detect collisions before they happen during descent, preventing damage – very clever! The desk also has a cable management tray to keep all your cables neat and tidy.

• Powerful lifting system. The desk also features an enhanced structure with a dual-motor lifting system which is incredibly smooth and ensures stability even at maximum capacity at the highest setting. The 3-stage lifting columns have a wide range of height adjustment options between 61 and 125cm to suit your needs and anyone else in the family.
• Easy installation. The FlexiSpot Q8 (8 in1) Standing Desk was surprisingly easy to put together and install in just three simple steps. It didn’t take long at all, and it was very straightforward.

We love our new desk! It’s beautiful, cleverly designed and a great asset to our home office, allowing us to change between standing and sitting working positions effortlessly and very smoothly. The built-in charging functionality is so useful and we love the drawer for storing our office essentials.
