HayMax Organic, Drug-Free Allergy Barrier Balm Review & Giveaway
My husband and my eldest daughter have hay fever and my husband is allergic to cats too. Every year when summer starts to make an appearance, he struggles with pollen allergy. He takes antihistamines if gets really bad but they don’t always work well enough.
I’m always curious about more natural products and ways to solve things and HayMax is a drug-free way to reduce allergy symptoms. HayMax products are organic barrier balms that have been proven to reduce dust and pet allergens and more than a third of pollen from entering the body. Less allergens in your body, means less reaction and fewer or milder symptoms.
There’s a range of balms available to suit different preferences:
- HayMax Frankincense – With organic essential oil of frankincense
- HayMax Aloe Vera – With organic aloe vera leaf juice powder
- HayMax Pure – No added fragrance or essential oil
- HayMax Lavender – With organic essential oil
- HayMax Kids! – Like the Pure one, but with superheroes for kids!
So far, the pollen has been mild where we live but I know it’s just going to get worse so I’m glad that we’re prepared with these balms for the whole family. My three-year-old is really pleased to have her own pot with superheroes on it!
For my husband, it is a good idea to combine a HayMax balm with antihistamines on bad days. He prefers the Pure one as he’s quite sensitive to scents in general. I really like the smell of the other ones though.
Because they’re drug-free, there are no side effects like drowsiness which is nice. The cute little pots are perfect for putting in your pocket or handbag so that you can reapply whenever needed.
HayMax products are available in Waitrose, Boots, Holland & Barrett as well as online from Amazon.co.uk, for example.
