Little Dish Pots & Pies Review – Tasty Meals Tailored for Toddlers
Today is a very exciting day because one of my favourite baby brands, Little Dish, is launching a lovely range of perfectly nutritionally balanced little meals for toddlers.
The new Pots & Pies meals are delicious and healthy meals created for little ones, nutritionist approved and loved by Little Dish‘s tiny testers and their mums and dads.
This yummy range contains 11 different meals — four mash topped pies and seven pots of pasta and rice dishes
The meals are:
- Fish Pie
- Shepherd’s Pie
- Cottage Pie
- Chicken Pie
- Chicken & Veg Risotto
- Veg Ravioli
- Mild Chicken Curry
- Spaghetti & Meatballs
- Beef Lasagne
- Pasta Bolognese
- Mild Beef Curry
These pots and pies are made using 100% natural ingredients and are low in salt and do not contain any added sugar, additives or preservatives. Each meals provides at least one of your child’s recommended five-a-day and is also a source of protein. The meat is always British and the fish is sustainably sourced.
It’s important to introduce children to a wide variety of tastes and textures from a young age as this is an essential part of developing a healthy palate which helps lay the foundations for life-long healthy eating habits. Little Dish Pots & Pies contain lots of exciting new flavours and challenging new textures like black turtle beans, sweet potato, smoked paprika, coconut, turmeric and much more.
The meals are perfectly sized for toddler tummies and the packaging is designed to look like traditional home cookware. They are so cute! The meals are sold chilled and you can store them in the fridge or the freezer at home.
They are easy to warm up in the oven or the microwave for a quick and easy but also healthy meal for your little one. They’re ideal for busy days when you don’t have time to cook a nutritious meal yourself or when you are eating something that’s not toddler friendly or at a different time.
These meals are brilliant and I’m so happy with the list of ingredients. They are as good as homemade but more convenient and are a great way for us to introduce new meals and flavours to our toddler even when life is hectic. They’re tasty too! We’ve tried five flavours — Cottage Pie, Fish Pie, Veg Ravioli, Chicken & Veg Risotto and Mild Chicken Curry — and I’m really impressed with the meals.
