Little Fruit Bowl Fruity Fingers and Sticks Review

We’ve just been introduced to the brand Little Fruity Bowl and their snacks for toddlers over 12 months old. They’ve been created to help picky eaters get accustomed to fruit and vegetable tastes and to supply calories essential for growing.

We’ve tried two types of products Fruity Fingers and Sticks. The Fruity Fingers come in four different flavours: apple, banana, strawberry and tomato. The Sticks come in three flavours: apple, raspberry and carrot & orange. They contain five times their weight in fruit and no added sugar, artificial colours or flavours. They’re made from real fruit puree and fruit juice and the Sticks contain cereal too.Little Fruit Bowl Fruity Fingers and Sticks Review A Mum Reviews

One pack provides one of the five a day recommended portions of fruit and vegetables. It seems like a lot of kids don’t eat their five a day and these yummy snacks are a great way of adding more fruit and vegetables to your children’s diets.

My daughter was an amazing eater for the first few months of weaning and would eat anything, then we went on holiday for a week when she was 9 months and that all changed and she came back home extremely fussy. 10 months later, she’s still a fussy eater and we struggle to get her to eat other vegetables than cucumber and the occasional slice of pepper. I do make her a smoothie every day with fruit, vegetables and added vitamins to make sure she gets enough but I would like her to eat more solid pieces of vegetables and fruit.Little Fruit Bowl Fruity Fingers and Sticks Review A Mum Reviews

That’s why I’m really happy to have found these. My girl was a bit skeptical at first, like she usually is, but is gradually getting used to them. I’ve tried each flavour to see what they taste like and to make sure they actually taste like the fruit and vegetables they contain and they really do taste just right. That means they’re a great way to get your toddler’s taste buds used to the different flavours. They are really tasty too!

The bags are a perfect snack size at 15g and they cost 60p each but are currently available on offer in Tesco 4 for £2.
