L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Collection Review

I’ve recently tried the L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Collection and here are my thoughts.

I love the use of oils in beauty products! They are very nourishing and always feel luxurious. Post-pregnancy, I really feel like my hair needs a treat!

The L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo for “dry, dull, rough hair”:

The shampoo is great; it cleans well without stripping your hair of moisture and it really feels nourishing. No tangled dry lumps of hair like you get with some harsh shampoos! So I’m happy with the quality of this shampoo. However, I’m not that keen on the scent. It’s a bit too florally for me, but that’s just me! Like with most products, if you can smell it in the shop before you buy, then do. That’s the best way to know if you’ll like the scent or not. The scent doesn’t linger after washing though so it’s not a problem at all.

The L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Conditioner for “dry to very dry hair”:

This conditioner works so quickly! A few seconds applying, then you can rinse and you’re done! Soft, tangle-free hair in seconds! Great stuff, but the scent is the same as the shampoo.

The L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil UV Filter for All Hair Types:

This oil is my favourite product from this collection. It’s a great multi-tasking product and can be used before shampooing as a luxurious deeply moisturising treatment, before styling with heat or after styling as a finishing touch. It is non-greasy, contains UV-filter and protects from heat! It’s so useful! The scent is the same as the other products but it goes away when dried. I don’t mind smelling a bit florally while I’m styling my hair.
