Mocc Ons by Sock Ons Review | Rainbow Stripe Toddler Moccasins

You have probably heard of Sock Ons — the very clever invention that keeps baby socks on baby feet! It was one of the first products that I bought when I was pregnant with my first baby as I’d read many good things about them in baby and pregnancy magazines. They’re clever little things that fit over regular socks and simply keep them firmly in place no matter how hard your baby tries to pull them off.

Sock Ons are really popular and have won several awards — they’re a must-have for babies who insist on pulling off their socks! Over a million Sock Ons products have been sold to date and they are available from many major UK retailers and distributed to over twenty countries in the world.

There are no babies in our house at the moment but I do have a nearly 2-year-old and a 4-year-old. I’ve always been a big fan of moccasins to wear as slippers around the house or as pram shoes when it’s warmer. They’re really comfortable and better than slippers as they’re easy to wash and stay on properly! When I saw the Rainbow Stripe Mocc Ons by Sock Ons, I fell in love and knew that my girls would love them too. We all love rainbows and colourful clothing so they’re perfect!

I originally had my youngest daughter in mind for these moccasins and went for size 2-3 Years as that’s what she wears in most clothes. They’re too big for her but fit my 4-year-old perfectly. Her birthday is in January so she’s only just turned four. There’s a really handy size guide on the website that I missed and 2-3 Years is equivalent to UK Shoe Size 7-8 so it makes perfect sense that they fit my eldest daughter. The other sizes available are: 6-12 months (UK Shoe Size 2/3), 12-18 months (UK Shoe Size 3.5/4) and 18-24 months (UK Shoe Size 5/6).

A bit more about Mocc Ons — they are really cute moccasin style slipper socks for babies and toddlers that keep feet comfortable and warm all throughout the year. They have high-quality leather soles stitched to soft stretch cotton socks and they come in lots of gorgeous and fun designs. You can get matching Dribble Ons too!

Like all products in the Sock Ons range, Mocc Ons are designed to be funky, practical, fashionable and fun to wear!

Mocc Ons are machine washable too which is essential for me when choosing moccasins for my girls. We use our beautiful rainbow stripe Mocc Ons at home and when travelling — in the car for longer journeys and they’ll be great on flights too for comfort.

We also use them when we go to playgroup at this time of the year as my eldest is usually wearing boots on the walk there. I don’t want her running around in dirty boots in the playgroup room, so she wears her Mocc Ons instead which are much more comfortable to play in whether she’s sat down playing with toys or running around like crazy with her little sister. The latter is what happens most of the time! The leather soles provide a good enough grip for running around which is great as they keep her from slipping.

Most other kids wear their outdoor shoes at playgroup so the soles of the moccasins get quite dirty but I just put them in the wash when we get home and I’m pleased to say they wash very well. I wash them on 40 degrees with other coloured washing and line dry away from direct heat.
