If you ask parents for their most essential baby items, many will say muslins and they are very useful indeed! With my eldest, I mainly used them as a breastfeeding cover when out and about but with my youngest, who had reflux, I used them all the time to catch sick, clean it up, protect clothes and furniture from sick and also as a breastfeeding cover.

Poppit Baby makes a wonderful super soft 100% bamboo cotton muslin that’s quite a bit special as it’s got integrated magnets in each of the four corners. This makes it even more useful as you can use it even more freely! You can easily secure it to your pram/push chair/travel system using the magnets to use the muslin as a sun/light shade for naptime. It’s a very thin and breathable material that I believe is safe to use like this.

Always ensure good airflow and monitor the temperature inside the pram and avoid going out with your baby on warm summer days, especially between 11am and 3pm. Babies are very sensitive to heat and sun exposure.

The Poppit Baby muslin is so soft and lovely! It’s machine washable just like any other muslin. The magnetic function also makes it a great breastfeeding cover as you can simply click the magnets together behind your neck and not worry about it falling down. It’s also nice and large — 100cm x 100cm which is much more useful than small ones.

It’s a very useful — and beautiful! — item that makes life as a parent a bit easier. It would make a lovely gift to give to parents to celebrate their new baby!
