Reds Reusables Cloth Nappies & Accessories Review

When I heard that Reds Reusables was a sister brand of Red Rags, I got really excited because I’ve had such a great experience using Red Rags CSP products. They’re very well-made, perform wonderfully and great quality. I knew I could expect the same from the new reusable nappy brand Reds Reusables.

I have been testing out the Reds Reusables cloth nappy range recently and am ready to share my feedback in a review here on the blog now too.

Reds Reusables makes an AI2 cloth nappy system that consists of a wonderful wrap designed for babies/toddlers between 8-35lbs and slim hemp inserts available in two sizes.

These are sold separately so you can use them with other nappies too or use the wrap with other inserts or fitted nappies. Really thick and super soft fleece liners are available too.

The high-quality PUL wrap features double gussets, an elasticated back, front- and back fleece flaps to hold inserts in place and create a stay dry barrier. It’s a generous size that fits well on my tall 2.5-year-old who has grown out of many BTP nappies now.

The wrap is adjustable with the rise poppers and has popper fastening at the waist too with two rows of poppers. It’s a great quality wrap that’s easy to fit and use.

I love the super slim Reds Reusables hemp inserts for daytime but also love using these wraps over fitted nappies by Thirsties at night. The wraps fit so well and don’t cause any marks at all which is exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to nappy wraps to use overnight.

I’m really picky with night nappy covers as comfort is extra important overnight. Reds Reusables have instantly made it to be one of very few chosen nappy wraps that I think are good enough and comfortable enough for night-time use.

In this new range, you’ll also find some cloth nappy accessories including three types of wet bags. There are medium double wet bags and small double wet bags with two zipped compartments and a handy poppered strap to hang the bags up with.

I love the medium one for nappies at home and when out and about and use the small ones for wipes on days out. It’s such a handy size! It would also work very well for CSP.

There’s also a pod / boxy wet bag which is great for storing prepped nappies in when travelling or for nursery and also brilliant for other uses too. I also love using pods for organising all kinds of things when packing for travelling or days out. This one is particularly great as it’s got a long carry strap too, making it easy to carry or hang over pram handles.
