The Best Baby Teether that We Have – Plus It Only Costs £2.49!

Teething has been going on for a while now. Our baby is 6.5 months old now and has been chewing and drooling for months but it’s got a lot worse over the past week with difficulties getting her to sleep and middle of the night trips to the kitchen for Calpol and Bonjela.

To help our littlest one, we have a bunch of teether toys for her to chew on which she loves and the one she likes the best is definitely this new one that I picked up in Boots a few weeks ago. We were going out for lunch with my sister and her boyfriend and popped into Boots to get some snacks for our toddler when I spotted this in the baby section.

What first attracted me to it was the packaging! The teether is packaged in a transparent egg-shaped plastic container and my toddler is obsessed with eggs. So I really bought it for her entertainment and the teether for my baby was a bonus! At £2.49 I was getting a great deal but it was even better as it turned out to be a brilliant teether too!The Best Baby Teether that We Have - Plus It Only Costs £2.49! A Mum Reviews

The Nuby Chewbies Teether has been designed to be as easy for your baby to keep in his or her mouth as a soother and the three dimensional shape offers lots of different areas to chew on. We have the red/blue one and the red area is a harder plastic with different ridges and the blue bit is a softer material that is more chewy and has massaging bristles to soothe sore gums and help keep them clean too.

All these different bits, make the teether so easy for my baby to maneuver and hold. She loves it and so do I! It keeps her happy for ages as she moves it around her mouth to reach the sore areas. It’s definitely our best baby teether! The Best Baby Teether that We Have - Plus It Only Costs £2.49! A Mum Reviews

It’s really easy to clean and can be sterilised using all methods and can be washed in the dishwasher too. The egg-box is a hygienic carry case that means you can easily pop it into your changing bag and keep it clean and ready for soothing on the go.

The shape also allows a dummy clip to be attached so that you can attach the teether to your baby’s clothing or pram to make sure they don’t drop it.

We have lost our carry case as my toddler plays with it (and transparent things are hard to spot!) so we’re going to have to get another one in one of the other colours. The Nuby Chewbies Teether also comes in pink/green and blue/yellow and is suitable from 3 months onward. You can buy them online from Amazon.co.uk, from the Nuby website or in store from shops like Boots or Asda. Browsing the Nuby website, I can see lots of other cool teether toys that we’ll have to check out!The Best Baby Teether that We Have - Plus It Only Costs £2.49! A Mum Reviews
