I’ve been on the lookout for a new pair of jeans for a while but have been struggling to find a pair that ticks my boxes. It can be so difficult to buy jeans online as well as the sizing between shops often varies.

I have finally got my jeans updated with a new pair of women’s skinny jeans from Lands’ End. I have worn different styles of jeans over the years but my favourite style is a skinny fit with a high waist. I find these types of jeans comfortable and versatile and suitable for my denim needs.

Let’s have a look at my new skinny jeans from Lands’ End. The ones I have are called Women’s Skinny Leg Slimming Jeans, High Waisted (Style # 528958). They’re available in Beech Blue, Black and Deepest Indigo. I wanted a dark blue pair of jeans so I opted for Deepest Indigo which is a very nice shade of very dark blue.

Lands’ End offer their jeans in a wide variety of sizes in Regular, Petite and Plus categories as well as in different lengths to help you find the perfect fit. There are measuring guidelines and a size chart too and you can also submit what sizes you usually buy from specific other big stores to help you find the correct Lands’ End size. This is very helpful when you’re trying to buy jeans online without being able to try them on.

My new skinny jeans from Lands’ End are made from a premium stretch denim which is very comfortable to wear and lets you move freely. The fabric blend is 69% cotton, 17% polyester, 9% viscose and 5% elastane. The jeans are made more sustainably, using less water than conventional denim wash techniques.

The jeans have a hidden tummy control panel which is quite soft and not restrictive, an elastic inner waistband to prevent gapping, a zip fly and belt loops. The high waist sits at the natural waist which makes a very comfortable fit. The skinny legs are form-fitting from the thigh to the hem for a true skinny jean look. The jeans can be machine washed at home as needed.

I’m really pleased with my new jeans so far! They are comfortable to wear in daily life – for work, the school runs, for walks (as seen above!) – but also look smart enough to dress up for more dressy occasions by teaming them with a nice blouse or shirt, your favourite heels and some accessories.

The jeans give a flattering silhouette and make your legs look slimmer and longer, while the compression panel and the high waist offer all-day comfort and support. I love that there’s no gapping when you sit down or bend, too.
