Rediscover Puffin Classics – The World’s Favourite Stories

Today, on the 3rd of March, it’s world book day and it’s also the day that twenty Puffin Classics are being reissued by Penguin Random House Children’s Books and the series has new beautiful book cover designs created by contemporary and up-and-coming designers.

“It’s a pleasure for us to extend our collection of reissued Puffin Classics with a further twenty key titles, particularly Charles and Mary Lamb’s Tales From Shakespeare in the commemorative year, which makes Shakespeare’s story-telling very accessible for children. The gorgeous covers across the Puffin Classics series are a delight for readers of all ages around the globe.”

Shannon Cullen, Publisher

Tales from Shakespeare is a fantastic introduction to the bard’s best-loved plays and Charles and Mary Lamb vividly bring to life the power of Hamlet and Othello, the fun As you Like It and the drama of Pericles. 2016 commemorates 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare so this release is perfect for this special anniversary. The book has an introduction by Dame Judi Dench.Rediscover Puffin Classics - The World's Favourite Stories A Mum Reviews

I would love to own these classic stories! There are so many that I haven’t read. I’m Swedish and in Sweden we naturally have Swedish writers and different classics. I know these stories and books but I’ve actually not read any of them. I would love to brush up on my classics and introduce them to my daughter too. #IHaveNeverRead
