Personalised Lunch Box, Bottle & School Labels from Petit-Fernand
My eldest daughter is starting school in September and it’s all very exciting! We are just getting the final bits ready for the big day. We have the school uniform sorted, a school backpack, school shoes and now some lovely personalised items from Petit-Fernand — a personalised lunch box, water bottle and of course plenty of labels for all those things that need labelling.
Petit-Fernand is a Bordeaux-based company that offers original, fun and easy-to-use products to help out the parents and please the kids too. And the best part is, the products are customisable so that they can match your children’s personalities. My four-year-old had so much choosing the designs of her new school products!
My daughter will be taking a packed lunch to school every day, so a good lunch box is an essential for us. We love our new Petit-Fernand personalised lunch box!
You can choose from four different colours for the box and 28 different fun themes, then add your child’s name to make it easy to identify at school. You can choose from a bunch of fonts and colours for the text too.
It’s a great size bento lunch box with a capacity of 1000ml. It has two layers — but you can choose to just use one if you’re packing a smaller lunch. The clips of the lunch box are secure but still easy for young children to open themselves.
The top layer is split into two compartments and the bottom has two removable containers. There’s an ice pack that you attach to the top layer after freezing it and this will help keep the food chilled for longer.
The lunch box is BPA-free and microwave and fridge safe. Always remove the ice pack before microwaving though.
A good water bottle for school was also on our list of things to sort out and the personalised isothermal kids’ water bottle from Petit-Fernand looks great! Again, you can personalise it by choosing from lots of fun themes, fonts and text colours.
I love that this bottle is made from high-quality stainless steel (which is much better for you than plastic — no BPA, no phthalates, no lead and no odour or taste) and that it keeps drinks cold too as it is double-walled insulated. The bottle is 100% recyclable too.
The capacity of the bottle is 350ml which means it’s not too heavy or bulky for younger children. The bottle has an anti-leak cap to prevent spillages and the spout has a protective cover to keep it hygienic too. To open the spout, you twist the cap — see video below — and this is a bit difficult for my four-year-old but we’ll keep practising and I’m sure she’ll master it before school starts.
Last but not least — school labels! You need to label so many things when your child starts school. We had to do it at pre-school too but there’s even more stuff to label at school — every part of the school uniform, shoes, bags, jackets, hats, suncream and any other belongings that aren’t already personalised.
Petit-Fernand offer a good selection of school name labels whether you’re looking for iron-on labels or stick-on ones. I personally don’t even own an iron so it’s stick-on ones all the way for us. They have labels for clothes and for items and have value packs for different needs too.
There are four shapes/sizes to choose from and the adhesive labels from Petit-Fernand will stick to pretty much any smooth surface to help identify and keep track of belongings. Choose between 32 backgrounds, 9 fonts and 100 illustrations for fun designs that match your child’s personality.
We’re using ours for all the clothes that my daughter will be wearing at school and her school bags and suncream. They seem really good quality and the designs are great! We got some free stickers in each pack of labels too which were a nice surprise — my kids are obsessed with stickers! I ordered some labels for myself too, to label folders and other office things.
Samples were provided to us for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I love the look of those lunchboxes
They are so spacious too! x
