Tips for Making Bath Time Easier

Giving the kids their bath has never been one of my favourite parenting tasks. I find it quite stressful so try my best to make it as easy as possible so that the kids can enjoy their bath and I can get them washed without any problems.

In this blog post, I’ll share some of my tips for making bath time easier. I hope they’ll be useful to you too if you want to reduce the stress that can surround bath time!

• Get Everything You Need Ready

Once young children are in the bath, you can’t leave the room so get everything you need ready before anyone goes in the water. Have a towel ready for each child, the clothes/pyjamas they’ll wear after the bath, a nappy if applicable and any creams etc that you might need.

• One Product that Does it All

Most of the time, I like to keep it simple and have just one product for the kids to use when having a bath. Putting your kids together in the bath is a great way to save time and water while they all still fit. I put my toddler in first while my older daughter gets ready, then they both play in the bath for a bit and then I get my toddler out first so my older daughter can stretch out. It’s also much easier to dry one child at a time instead of trying to help both at the same time!
