Healthy Snacks for Kids & Parents – Product News from Eat Real
My two daughters and I love a snack and I try to choose healthy things most of the time. Eat Real is a brand that we discovered recently and they make lots of tasty snacks for kids and adults.
They have some exciting product news that I want to share with you in this post.
The first is that their popular Veggie Straws are now available in handy multi-packs for extra convenience and value. My girls love these! They are full of flavour and made from all-natural ingredients. They are very tasty and gluten-free, Kosher and vegan too! The crunchy Veggie Straws are flavoured with kale, tomato and spinach which makes them a great way to introduce veggie flavours to fussy eaters.
They are lower in calories than regular crisps as well — 99 calories per 20g pack — so make a good snack for an adult who’s watching their weight too.
The packaging is fun for kids with the stick characters and the multi-pack with smaller packets is so handy as a small bag easily fits in lunch bags and my handbag. Hunger can strike at any time!
A multi-pack with 5 x 20g bags has an RRP of £1.99 which is good value too.
The other new addition is the new range of raw Nut Shots that are designed to deliver a wholesome and nutritious energy boost at any time of day. My energy levels often dip and I am definitely a person that needs to top up with snacks between meals.
I’m a vegetarian that doesn’t eat eggs so nuts are a great source of nutritious protein for me but I don’t eat enough of them. Adding these Nut Shots to my diet is a great way to up my nut intake.
These packs are handy 25g single-portion packs and come in many different flavours — Raw Cashews, Raw Almonds, a Raw Nut Mix and Peanuts & Raisins, as well as a Mixed Fruits option containing moisture-rich black cherries, blueberries and strawberries. They only contain all-natural ingredients and no added sugar, artificial colours and preservatives. They are all suitable for vegans too.
They are very tasty and a great size for a quick snack at home or out and about. The RRP is 79p per pack.
